Historical Description(s) Edit
Admiral Yi Soon Shin was a Korean national hero who was undefeated at sea and was essential to repelling Japanese invaders during the Ixnjin War (1592 - 1598). He was most famous for defeating Toyotomi Hideyoshi at the Battle of Myeongnyang where he defeated 133 Japanese warships with only 13 Korean turtle ships.
Despite the jealousy of high-ranking officials, he remained in the king’s favor and was appointed the commander of the entire navy. Unlike the rest of its military, Korea’s navy was a strong force, due in part to the Admiral. He installed multiple cannons and hwacha rocket launchers on board each of his newly designed turtle ships.
Admiral Yi received little recognition during his life, however he was posthumously bestowed the title of 'Naval Commander of the Three Provinces,’ which became the title used for the commander of the Korean navy until 1896. Admiral Yi was killed by a stray bullet, but with his last breaths he commanded his son to masquerade as him by wearing his armor until the battle was won, saying 'Beat my war drums and do not let my death be known.’
Admiral Yi Turtle Ship Edit
Admiral Yi is always accompanied by a turtle ship which sits at the docks/shipyard and fires at anything the general attacks including walls. The ship has no range limit and have a wide splash damage effect. The attacking speed of the ship is about 7 secs with a dps which varies with the level of the general. The ship cease fire when the general is moving or not attacking anything, it disappears when Admiral Yi is killed.
If there is more than 1 Admiral Yi on the battlefield, there would be only 1 ship but it would fire at what each of them attacks at same time.
Note: The ship fires only at what Admiral Yi attacks but not what attacks him
