“A powerful raiding vehicle which is able to endure more damage and engage foot infantry better than other raiders.”
Historical Description[edit | edit source]
One of the unique designs of the BA-64 was its multi-faceted hull. This provided its crew with superior protection from shell fragments and small arms fire. It was very reliable and cheap to build, making it one of the most common Soviet armored vehicles to be produced during World War II. The BA-64 would later be replaced by the BTR-40 and was exported for military aid in other nations.
