“Transport airplane deploys Paratroopers onto the battlefield from above. Paratroopers do not cause enemy defenders to spawn. Tap anywhere to designate the drop location. Transports must wait to load more troops before they can be re-deployed.”
Historical Description[edit | edit source]
Military leaders have long dreamed of dropping troops from the sky to bypass fixed defenses and disrupt enemy supply lines. These dreaming would come to fruition during WWII with legendary battles such a shame Operation Overlord (D-Day), Market Garden and German's massive airborne invasion of Crete. Although helicopter assault have replaced most function of the paratrooper, even recent conflicts have featured combat jumps by airborne forces.
